“Breathe. Breathe some more. Look up often. Discover the wonder and awe that is already here.”
These are words of wisdom from our Homeland Hospice Chaplains. Not only does this amazing team provide spiritual care for our hospice patients and families, they also conduct worship services for our residents at Homeland Center, and deliver spiritual guidance to Homeland’s growing staff. They are always willing to listen and are present in each moment…our Beacons of Hope.
During the end-of-life process, a hospice chaplain honors and nurtures a patient’s spiritual needs…an important part of a hospice care team. They are trained to guide individuals through the emotional challenges that arise with a serious illness, recognizing the beliefs, practices, and traditions that help people find comfort and meaning in their life.
