With a lifelong passion for magazines, Sam is excited to lead the extremely talented Susquehanna Style team in growing the brand, uniting our community, and helping the region’s businesses grow. Sam brings years of international publishing experience, having helped guide the brand development of global editions of major publications with Rodale, including Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Runner’s World, and Bicycling. Originally from Baltimore, Sam has been a Lancaster County resident for nearly ten years thanks to her love of all things Lancaster and local. When not in the office, you can find Sam baking and cooking up new concoctions, trying a new fitness class, or enjoying a local happy hour with friends.

Sue OSue Ottenheimer  |  Senior Account Executive

Sue came to Susquehanna Style in late 1997 as the magazine was preparing to launch its premier issue. In addition to her print advertising expertise, Sue’s professional background includes many years of advertising sales in the radio industry. Originally from Baltimore, Sue relocated to the Susquehanna Valley in 1988. In her free time, Sue enjoys working out, cooking, reading, spending time with her family and rooting for her alma mater, The University of Michigan.

Kristina Martin  |  Account Executive Kristina Martin

Kristina Martin is a Lancaster County native with more than a decade of experience in marketing, branding, and digital strategy on both the client and the agency side. For the past three years Kristina has taught multimedia and digital marketing courses as an adjunct for Albright College in Reading, PA.  After living in Franklin County for two years, Kristina is excited to return to her hometown and begin a new career with Susquehanna Style. During her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.

JennJennifer Vrooman  |  Account Executive

Jennifer is a Lancaster native and has also resided in Brooklyn and Philadelphia over the years. After graduating from Millersville University with a BS in Communication Studies, she began her career in advertising as an account executive for a local Lancaster publication. Before joining Susquehanna Style and returning to the publishing industry, Jen also spent time in the agency world working with direct mail, print, and digital marketing. When not working with Susquehanna Style, you might even find Jen singing jazz at the Belvedere Inn or The Greenfield Inn. In addition to her love of music, Jen is a foodie who enjoys finding new places to dine, making new recipes, and feeding her family and friends with love.

Marianna Torres  |  Marketing and Events Assistant Marianna Tores

After graduating from Temple University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, Marianna Torres is excited to start her professional career as the Marketing and Events Assistant for Susquehanna Style Magazine. Although a Lancaster native, she looks forward to learning more about the area's new places to eat and shop. When not in the office, Marianna loves crocheting, salsa dancing, and playing with her three yorkies.


Julia Selwyn |  Intern

Originally from New York and a recent Regent University graduate, Julia is beyond excited to be an intern for Susquehanna Style Magazine! With a B.A. in Communication Studies, she has long had a love for words and a deep appreciation for the ways they continue to influence. Although she’s lived in several states before, there’s just something about the Valley that is simply unique. She is looking forward to being a part of how the magazine captures its people, places, ideas, and stories. When she’s not writing, you can find Julia reading, drinking coffee, or talking to her TV screen, asking the couple on the latest episode of House Hunters if they actually liked house number two that was located on a busy street.
