Kate has been a foodie since before “foodie” was a thing. Her passion for food led her to culinary school followed by a 17-year career in food marketing and sales. While her culinary tastes can take her around the world, Kate has lived in various places in Central PA including Dauphin, Lancaster, and Lebanon Counties. She currently resides in Mount Gretna and enjoys the pace of life it brings. Katy is a Susquehanna Valley native and natural storyteller at heart. After graduating from Penn State in 2022 with a journalism degree, she relocated to Green Bay, Wisconsin for her first job as a television news reporter. She spent the year sharing the voices of her community and learning the nooks and crannies of every neighborhood. Now, she’s excited to bring that same passion to her role as editor for the Susquehanna Style.
