When you sit down and have a conversation with David Lyall, the Principle Interior Design of his namesake company, David Lyall Home & Design, the word “authentic” comes to mind. Specializing in both residential and commercial projects, David and his team strive for an interior that is inspired by his client's loves, interests, and their personal aesthetic. His goal with each project is to provide an interior that is customized, personalized, and reflects his client's individuality.
David, along with his talented team, bring over 30 years of experience to every detail of each project and installation. David’s team includes 3 associate designers, support staff, and rich relationships with local architects and contractors. His network of design professionals and craftsmen assures that client projects are successfully executed from start to finish.
Located in historic downtown Lancaster, a visit to the DLH&D showroom is an inspiring adventure for the eyes and mind. There, in a converted tobacco warehouse, you’ll explore over 9000sq.ft. of beautiful furniture, designer accents, and interior inspiration. Everything comes together as a result of David’s lifelong passion and love of design, curation, and the elements that combine to create a beautiful interior space.
David and his team service their clients in a number of ways. From personalized color consultations and redesign of individual rooms, to designing each custom element of a new home from the ground up.
David resides in a 100 year old Georgian home in Lancaster, with his partner of 15yrs, Douglas, and their rescue companion Batdog. As a champion of the local arts community, David sits on the Board of Directors of the Ephrata Performing Arts Center and is an avid supporter of Lancaster’s historic Fulton Theatre.
