It is amazing how tastes can change the older one gets. Of course, there are things that I will or will not wear because of my age, but it honestly seems to be my size, figure or price that stops me from purchasing and wearing something the most.
When it comes to fashion, I don’t think age needs to be the only factor. It is all in how you wear and style something. There are several clothing styles that are classic, timeless and grow with you as you age (beautifully and gracefully, of course).

Dark wash denim is a basic closet staple that ages as you age. A straight or boot cut seems to be universally flattering, and can be worn with flats, sneakers, wedges and heels. Because of their dark wash, it is easy to dress them up or down as well.

The Little Black Dress is another piece that stands the test of time and age. Any occasion or age, your LBD can be worn for years and years. I love the versatility it lends to everyone, regardless of her personal style.

A denim jacket is another piece of clothing fit for anyone at any age. I also consider it more of an accessory. Yes, it is functional, but unlike your typical jacket, it can also be worn to complete a look. They are offered just about anywhere, and in so many different washes and styles that it can be easy to find one to fit your personal preference. I love how it looks with a subtle crop top and maxi, or classic dress pants and a white blouse.
Although we are encouraged to clean out our closet from season to season, there are a few classic pieces that you should be able to keep and grow old with.
