New Hope may have started as a ferry town along the Delaware River, but it is filled with history, undeniable charm, restaurants for every palette, and plenty of activities for everyone wanting to get into the Christmas Spirit.
Peddler’s Village
While technically not in New Hope, Peddler’s Village is still a holiday destination you need to see! Christmas elves everywhere know that shopping fuels the hustle bustle of the season, and it can be challenging to find just the right gift for that certain someone on your Christmas list. Large department stores or online retailers cannot compare with the quaint shoppes tucked inside of Peddler’s Village. Complete with gourmet food shoppes, specialty clothing, bookstores, and even something for Fido or the budding wizard. Mom can even enjoy pampering at the spa while the little ones run off their Christmas candy rush at Giggleberry Fair.

New Hope and Ivyland Railroad
The night is not complete without punching your ticket on the New Hope North Pole Train. Ask a child about Christmas and invariably they know Santa Claus will be making a list and checking it twice. New Hope knows that the best experience with Santa and Mrs. Claus is aboard the North Pole Train, which offers deluxe, premium, and express packages, as well as first class and coach accommodations. The one hour round trip excursion can be pulled by a steam or diesel engine, and passengers are encouraged to dress in pajamas and sing Christmas carols while enjoying cocoa and cookies.
