Reader’s Lens: Susquehanna Valley Snapshots

This iconic Lancaster County photo was contributed by local resident Debbie Serdy:
“This is my nephew on his "day of fun with Aunt Debbie." We went to the corn maze at Cherry Crest Farm. It dosen’t get more Lancaster County than that!”

Second Run
Where can you find an independent film venue, local art house and community gathering place all in one location? Zoetropolis, a beloved community establishment in Downtown Lancaster, has recently reopened its doors in a brand new location. Leigh Lindsay, co-owner and mastermind behind this unique business, explains that she wants to provide an opportunity to see quality films “without going to New York or Philadelphia.” Zoetropolis features a movie theater that evokes comfort and ease, primarily because of its one-of-a-kind furniture. Guests have the choice to sit in chairs or lounge on couches, and they can even opt to recline in original seating from the Fulton Opera House. In addition to its distinctive theater, Zoetropolis also promotes the work of local photographers and artists in its display space. Showtimes at Zoetropolis run Thursday through Sunday. Check out their Facebook page for special events and updates.
