“Yesterday’s Heritage, Tomorrow’s Culture”
Church World Service of Lancaster’s
Annual Benefit Dinner
We welcome you to join us for dinner in support and celebration of our local refugee community in Lancaster!
When: October 25, 2012 from 5:30pm-8:30pm
Where: The Cork & Cap Factory Hotel, 480 New Holland Avenue, Suite #3000, Lancaster, PA 17602
Each year, Church World Service of Lancaster’s “Yesterday’s Heritage, Tomorrow’s Culture” benefit raises money to serve and empower refugees who, after having endured unimaginable hardships and having been forced to seek protection, have made Lancaster their new home. The benefit will acknowledge the difficult journey that refugees face, while also celebrating their contributions to our community—including their unique insight and vibrant heritage.
While enjoying hors d’oeuvres and dinner, guests will be invited to take part in a silent auction. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about ways they can positively impact their local refugee community by offering their time, support, and friendship.
Price: $50 per person
