Tailwagger's Trick Or Treat

Calling all pugkins, werewoofs and doggosaurs! The Humane League of Lancaster County (HLLC) will be your host at Tailwagger’s Trick Or Treat on Saturday, October 14. Park your broomsticks at Buchanan Park, 901 Buchanan Avenue in Lancaster, from 11 AM to 3 PM for a whole lot of treats, zero tricks, and a tail-wagging good time!

Dress to impress, because great prizes and certificates will be awarded for Best Pet Costume, Best Child Costume, Best Human Costume, Best Pet & Human Duo, and Best Group! Strut your silliest or scariest costumes during a short parade around the park. Winners will be announced by judges from Tailwagger’s Official Radio Partner, FUN 101.3.

Adults are invited to pick their poison under a private tent in Tailwagger’s new Beer Garden. Guests 21 years and older. Admission is $20 and includes unlimited pours of available brews and wine. Pre-register online at humanepa.org/events/tailwaggers-trick-or-treat/, or pay at the event.

Face painting, a Halloween-themed photo booth, story-telling, crafts and more will have children dancing with delight between visits to vendor booths and their candy bowls. All children’s activities are donation-based, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the HLLC.

Enjoy music provided by FUN 101.3, munch on delicious food truck fare, and stop by Humane Pennsylvania’s table for raffles and information about its shelters, vet hospitals, programs, services and more.
