For those who love a good yarn, this is the event for you. Come hear tales and songs from the Civil War and of old Canal Days from storyteller Matthew Dodd. Hear what life was like for Pennsylvania’s first German settlers. Bring the kids for hands-on workshops and children’s stories. Take a wagon ride and share stories of your own. But don’t misbehave, or you’ll hear it from the schoolmarm! All of this and more await at this celebration of the art of storytelling. Lunch available for purchase at the Weathervane Museum Store. The event runs from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, August 11. Admission is Adults/$12, Senior/$10, Ages 6-11/$8, Ages 5 & Under/Free. Parking is free.
