Spectacular Christmas Celebration

We’re transforming the galleries of the AACA Museum into a spectacular winter wonderland featuring Christmas trees through the ages adorned with period decorations. Also, trees decorated in themes of PEZ, Coke, favorite things of boys and girls, Santa, snowmen and much more! Toys for kids from 1-92 will fill our Cammack Gallery with exotic cars, Hot Rods, Hot Wheels, Hess Trucks, Dolls, Pedal Cars, and much more! Kids can even ride a few pedal cars in a special play area.

We will be showing the classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” at our indoor drive-in theatre and display the actual Ernie’s Taxi used in the filming of the movie. And NEW this year is The CAR-TOON, a 1928 Ford Model AR Roadster Pick up Truck that has been painted and air-brushed on every inch to include all comic characters from 1896 – today!

All aboard as trains, trains and more trains will abound throughout all levels of the Museum! Our classic Roads to Rails model train display will again feature multiple trains, including Thomas the Tank Engine, new model train displays on the Museum’s main and upper levels, and a Polar Express model train village.

Sammy the Snow Plow will be back for the holidays this year! Sammy is our 1967 four wheel-drive Walter snowplow weighing in at more than 21 tons. Sammy loves the cold weather so you’ll find him outside on the Museum grounds.
