This year marks the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s passing in Stratford, England. The Shippensburg University Community Orchestra celebrates the diverse musical creations inspired by the Bard. Orchestra conductor, Dr. Mark Hartman will lead the orchestra through a range of fascinating musical compositions that will be combined with just a trace of poetry from William Shakespeare’s sonnets and plays. These dramatic excerpts will be performed by quest artist and Shippensburg University theatre professor, Paris Peet and soprano Elizabeth Lins Shoenfelt.
