Furry & Loveable Valentines Featured During Shelter Sweetheart Week
HSHA believes that true Valentine's Day sweethearts have fur and more than two legs. That's why community members are invited to find their true love during HSHA's annual Shelter Sweetheart week. From February 13 to 18 the adoption fees of fifty Shelter Sweethearts will be cut in half.
The promotion is held each year in an effort to find loving new homes for some of HSHA's hundreds of residents. HSHA encourages everyone to consider spending Valentine's Day with a new pet. Adoption prices include spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and basic vaccines. Despite these reduced fees, HSHA's normal adoption policies and procedures will still apply.

Soul Mates are typically defined as two people who have a feeling of deep affection or natural affinity. At HSHA, we define Soul Mates as bonded pairs of cats that have to be adopted into the same FURever home. When one of these amazing pairs is adopted during Shelter Sweethearts Week, the adoption fee for the first is 50% off, while the adoption fee for the second is completely waived! This year, we expect to have several pairs of Soul Mates available during Shelter Sweetheart Week.
