A Service of Nine Lessons and Carols

Market Square Presbyterian Church S. 2nd Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17101
A service based on the world-famous Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols held since 1918 at King's College, Cambridge, England. The prelude music begins at 3:30 p.m. At 4:00 p.m. the service begins, with Susquehanna Youth Chorale boy soprano Max Davis; organist Ellen Landis Hunt; the church's Sanctuary Choir and the Market Square Ringers under the direction of Tyler A. Canonico, Minister of Music and Organist. Works by Willcocks, Rutter, Cleoburry, Greer, and more. The congregation will participate in singing traditional Advent and Christmas carols.
Tickets are available at the door with a suggested $10 donation to Market Square's organ restoration project.
Market Square Church will provide parking at no charge to attendees in the adjacent city-owned Market Square Garage.
