PNC Grow Up Great’s Mobile Learning Adventure (MLA) is a traveling exhibit that provides an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn about the importance of early childhood education while engaging in fun activities with their children. The MLA arrives in York on Tuesday, August 5 at the Strand-Capitol for two days. Children will take center stage at the Strand and experience the MLA, which includes interactive kiosks, coloring activities and the “When I Grow Up” photo station, where kids dress up as different professionals and have their pictures superimposed on an appropriate background.
In addition, activity books and learning kits that demonstrate how to take everyday moments and turn them into learning opportunities are available to take home. Parents, caregivers and educators are invited to come out and join us from 12 noon – 3 pm on August 5 & 6.
There is no charge for this event and no reservation is required.
