NetCo Dance: Suspended Perspectives
The Ware Center North Prince Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Lancaster, PA, March 21, 2016: The NetCo Dance Company proudly presents their 12th annual full length dance concert, Suspended Perspectives, at the Ware Center on Sunday, April 10 at 3 PM. All pieces directed by Jennifer Berlet. The Ware Center is located at 42 N. Prince Street.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Director Jennifer Berlet will explore the dual nature of subjects ranging from hot button and political, to absurd and childlike, to abstract and metaphysical. Each piece will be met with a corresponding work that addresses the same theme from a different point of view.
The show will begin with the full company performance “Biased,” a dance based on racially charged police shootings. Following this will be “Fresh Ground,” a sharp and quirky dance depicting pepper, the spice. Next will be “Critically Imperfectly,” a dance that stays primarily on the floor, full of canons, repetitions, and sharp complicated movement. The show will end with “Suspended Perspectives,” a full company dance offering a whimsical look at Black Friday and the hectic craziness that comes from scrambling to get in line.
Price: $15 Adult | $12 Senior | $5 Student
