Mural Painting: Methods & Materials

This course will teach you the methods and materials used to create interior, exterior murals decorative painting that can be used in your home, business or school.  Beginning with image development, you will be led, step-by-step, through the process of producing large-scale paintings for use in practical applications.  Topics covered in this class include: image development, design, composition, color, perspective, surface assessment and preparation, roughing in the design, image enlargement, projection, and transferal (grid system).  The instructor will provide information on paint, proper brushes and materials to use.  The course will culminate with you designing and producing a mockup and a mural project that is ready for the next exciting step!
