Littoral: John Hubbard in Context
Demuth Museum E. King St., Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17602
This exhibit features the work of John Hubbard, an American born and educated painter who has been living and working in England since 1961. Hubbard has been drawn to the littoral zone, an indeterminate space along the shoreline that is neither land nor sea. His works capture the meeting of shifting waters, spray of the sea, rocks and sand of the shoreline fused with the ever-changing light.
