Linden Hall Brings Tolkien's The Hobbit to the Stage

After you've seen the Peter Jackson epic movie version, you will want to see Linden Hall's Middle School Drama students' production of J.R.R. Tolkien's, The Hobbit, on stage at Linden Hall on February 22 and 23, 2013.
Fifth grader Ella Warfel will play Bilbo Baggins recruited by the wizard, Gandalf (Seraphina Thorpe) and Thorin Oakenshield, King of the Dwarves (Sophia Echevarria) to find and slay the dragon, Smaug (Hillary Rogers).
The cast of this classic tale includes Alesha Arshad, Addy Astarita, Shelby Colson, jackie Denker, maddie Downs, Chloe Hain, Eva Hain, Izzy Hardin, Victoria Kreider, Meredith Longer, Claire Olson, Fatima Pate, Maryam Pate, Halle Richardson, Simi Sachdeva, Audrey Salmons, Sarah Stambaugh, Abby Stull, Dana Taylor, Ava Warfel, and Sarah Wolfe.
Director and faculty advisor Dennis Foreman, is excited about the new Stage Crew/Makeup Club being developed by fellow faculty advisor, Ms. Elizabeth Corlett. Look for very creative staging, including puppetry, as our Middle School takes us on a tale of adventure in Middle Earth!
Admission is by donation. Cast members will gladly accept donations in Lyet Gallery before and after the show.
