Landscape Painting (en plein aire)

Take advantage of the long evening light of summer in this outdoor painting course.  The tranquil setting of Lancaster Central Park provides endless inspiration.  This class teaches you strategies for direct painting outdoors and working from references.  Learn the technique of color mixing, paint handling, and various ways of beginning a painting. NOTE: It is recommended that students use oil or acrylic paint, though watercolor may be used if you have prior experience with the medium.  Along with painting supplies, students will need to provide their own portable easel for this class.
