Jerry Pinkney has illustrated more than 100 children’s books, winning the 2010 Caldecott Medal for his work on The Lion and the Mouse.
The Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery at Lebanon Valley College is hosting the exhibition Jerry Pinkney: Imaginings, An Artist’s Exploration of Images and Words , which explores Pinkney’s connection with literature and his creation of visuals that bring life to a story. Some of his other works included in the exhibition are from books such as Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Jungle Book, and The Tales of Uncle Remus.
