A benefit event for Jewish Family Services of York:
The Haifa Symphony Orchestra of Israel was founded in 1950 and in recent years has become the focal point of musical life in Haifa and the north of Israel. The Orchestra, which is the most significant musical institute in the north of Israel, has recently expanded its activities throughout the country. World Acclaimed Maestro Noam Sheriff, one of Israel’s most versatile musicians, is the music director of the HSO.
Jewish Family Services of York
Since 1988, the social service agency has been helping people help themselves – regardless of religious affiliation. Its goal is to be the one agency “caring for you for life” — guiding individuals and families as they face life’s expected transitions and unexpected challenges. A number of its programs, including the Wise Options geriatric care management program and Staying Connected escorted transportation program, are geared toward assisting seniors and families. It also offers parent-coaching at the Parenting Place and many opportunities to get involved and help make York a stronger community.
