This exhibit honors the bond between fathers and sons. These father/son bonds are particularly important when the relationship encompasses the son learning his life’s work at his father’s side. This is the case with W. Taylor Oughton, a renowned bucks county artist, and his son Robert Oughton of Hellam township and Rob Evans, well-known York county painter and his son, Lucas, who is about to enter his formal college arts education.
The connection becomes even more interesting when it is noted that both W. Taylor Oughton and Rob Evans have paintings in the collection of the Michener museum in Doylestown, Bucks County, PA.
