Head “south of the border” to celebrate the first Friday of fall, as the Adams County Arts Council holds a Fall Fiesta, September 26 from 5-8 pm. Hosted by longtime ACAC supporter and instructor Judy Pyle, the Fall Fiesta includes a festive Mexican supper and drinks, plus live music by the Klinger McFry Band, in a beautiful, tented, outdoor setting featuring Pyle’s grounds and gardens. The public event, a fundraiser for the non-profit arts council, also includes a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind art. Pyle laughingly refers to her location at 255 South Howard Avenue as “Gettysburg’s SoHo.”
Reservations, requested by September 24, are $25 and can be made online at adamsarts.org, or in person at the arts council, 125 S. Washington Street, Gettysburg. Admission at the door will be $30. Event-goers must be at least 21. The arts council’s mission is to cultivate an arts-rich community. See adamsarts.org or call 717-334-5006 for more information.
