THIRD STREAM PLUS ONE

Third Stream has appeared in numerous concerts and nightclubs as featured artists, and has also shared the bill with Herbie Hancock, Stanley Turrentine, Spyro Gyra, Tower of Power, Jeff Beck, Livingston Taylor and Vassar Clements. The group recorded a 45 RPM in 1979 and a year later released their first album, “Gettin’ It Together.” Third Stream also organized and produced “Just Friends” and “Just Friends Again,” two record albums featuring the talents of eight Central Pennsylvania jazz musicians. In 1984 the group released We Free Kings, a cas­sette of Christmas favorites. In 1989 Third Stream released their first compact disc “Black Widow” and in 2004 released the compact disc We Free Kings II , a newer version of the 1984 release with upgraded arrangements as well as additional material. The band is currently work­ing on a new recording project, with hopes of it being released in 2014.
