On November 8, the 28th annual Brossman Science Lecture will be presented by Dr. Ainissa Ramirez, scholar, inventor and science evangelist. Ramirez will present on the topic "Small and Strange Stuff" to help us understand and appreciate how knowing science makes our world a better place. This event will be held at 7 p.m. in Clair Performance Hall at the Winter Visual and Performing Arts Center.
About the Speaker: Ramirez's mission is to make science accessible for all, including an educational and fun science show for kids called Science Saturdays, plus a short video series about "science in the news" called Material Marvels. Called one of the top innovators of the century, Ramirez's research focuses on creating new materials for new technology.
