Balourdet Quartet and Adam Sadberry, Flute

Winners of the Concert Artists Guild International competition, Balourdet Quartet and flutist Adam Sadberry, will open Market Square Concerts’ 2022-23 season with a program of American chamber music. Samuel Barber’s String Quartet Op. 11, immortalized by its profound Adagio, and light-hearted Suite of Duke Ellington hits will be followed by Katherine Hoover’s virtuosic “Winter Spirits” for flute and Romantic Theme and Variations for flute and string quartet by Amy Beach, recently featured in the PBS documentary about her life and work. 

Single tickets are $35, $30 for seniors, $5 for college students and FREE for K-12 school-age students with a $10 ticket available for one accompanying adult.
