Backstage Café’ Art Gallery features Jill Brinser

During the months of June 1st, 2022 to July 31st 2022, the Backstage Café’ at the Allen Theatre in Annville PA is featuring the art work of Jill Brinser, a local artist and member of the Hershey Area Art Association. After 28 years of design, Jill switched to fine art. In her bio, she states “I enjoy painting subjects that mean something to me—every painting has a story. I am fascinated with reflections, textures, and other little details that make a canvas come to life. My palette is often very saturated. I like to paint larger than life and often crop in tightly so that the viewer feels like they can reach in and feel it. I ‘design’ my painting so that even if it is a common object, I put some unique ‘twist’ on it. I purposely incorporate subtle brushstrokes and imperfections as a reminder that the composition is my interpretation of real life rather than a replica.
