45th Annual Juried Art Exhibition
to
Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery North College Ave, Annville, Pennsylvania 17003
The Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery is proud to showcase the art of the region during the 45th Annual Juried Art Exhibition at Lebanon Valley College June 3 through 19. The opening reception for the exhibition is Friday, June 3 from 5 to 7 p.m.
This Gallery will showcase the art of the region. This LVC tradition will feature a variety of paintings, drawings, sculpture, assemblage, and photographs. More than 200 entries are submitted each year, making this a highly competitive show that demonstrates the range of talent among regional artists.
The juror for this year’s exhibition will be Brenton Good, assistant professor of art and co-chair of the Department of Visual Arts at Messiah College. Good’s art draws inspiration from Modern Art movements such as Minimalism and Bauhaus inspired formalism. Good’s images result in a conscientious sense of color theory coupled with the organic nature of landscape, coffee stains, or cracked sidewalks. Good has exhibited artwork internationally, and his prints and paintings are exhibited at the University of Alaska Anchorage, Bilkent University in Turkey, and most recently, the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, TX. Good, also an author, has publications in numerous exhibition catalogues.
Gallery hours are Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays from 1 to 4:30 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and by appointment for groups. Schools and other organizations are encouraged to contact the Gallery for a guided visit. Additional information is available at www.lvc.edu/gallery, gallery@lvc.edu, or 717-867- 6445.
