Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health wanted to help local businesses in the community manage their medical spend and improve the quality of healthcare they receive. The result? Eliance Health Solutions, a health plan for Lancaster employers with 15 or more employees.
Dave Jani, Vice President, Sales & Business Development, says the ultimate goal is to “help employers save money and keep employees healthy.”
Eliance Health Solutions is excited to announce their new product, Eliance Advantage. Eliance Advantage includes all of the regular benefits of their health plans along with an integrated membership to the Penn Medicine HealthWorks network of employer-sponsored primary care practices located throughout Lancaster County. The inclusion of clinic access is another way the Eliance team is working to offer an innovative product to the local community that benefits businesses and their employees.
Jani says, “We prioritize the relationship between providers, employers and employees for better coordination of care and better medical outcomes.” Plus, as a Lancaster-based health plan, the team at Eliance Health Solutions lives and works in the Lancaster area.
From simplified care navigation processes to wellness screenings that detect and prevent underlying conditions, Eliance fills gaps other health plans don’t.
An alternative to the traditional health insurance model, Jani says the Eliance product “is very forward-thinking and innovative, and we are excited to bring this to local businesses.”
