Avenue Q, a musical in two acts, is the laugh out-loud show that's part human, part puppet and packed with heart. Tackling the topics of sexual identity, race, porn and relationships...it has a "Sesame Street" look, but an R-rated adult storyline (Contains adult themes, strong language, and sexual content - Mature audiences only).
The musical tells the timeless story of bright-eyed college grad, Princeton, as he arrived in New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. He finds a shabby apartment all the way out on Avenue Q, a neighborhood filled with an array of colorful characters. Together, they struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life.

Avenue Q was created by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx. This musical is directed by Maria Enriquez with music direction by Adam Gustafson and is presented by Penn State Harrisburg's School of Humanities Theatre program.
