Opening Weekend at Rock Ford Plantation

To celebrate the Opening Weekend of the 2013 Tour Season on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, Rock Ford Plantation will be bustling with activity as volunteers dressed in period attire demonstrate a variety of activities such as soap making, open hearth cooking, and dyeing.  For Opening Weekend only, there is no admission charge for children under 12 years of age.  The acclaimed musical group "Seasons" will be performing traditional harp and hammered dulcimer music on Saturday, April 6. The Rock Ford mansion will be open for self-guided tours on both days from 11 AM to 3 PM.
