Shelley This course investigates the historic processes of cyanotype and Van Dyke Brown. Students will learn how to mix the emulsion, coat the paper with the emulsion, and expose the paper and negative to a UV light source. In this hands-on course, students will also learn about paper choices, coating methods, and different ways of making negatives for these contact-printing processes. Students will have an opportunity to experiment with creating prints combining both cyanotype and Van Dyke Brown processes.
