THEIR LOVE STORY
Reid and I actually met through Tinder! In the beginning of March 2017, I was in pharmacy school in Pittsburgh at the time and came home to Lebanon for spring break. He was in school at Lebanon Valley College at the time and we started talking over that week I was home. His birthday is on March 24 and he wasn’t doing anything special. I had the idea to invite him to drive four hours to visit me in Pittsburgh for our first date and his birthday weekend (crazy, I know!). Well he did it! We had a great weekend and the minute he got back home he texted me saying he knew he needed to make me his girlfriend. The rest is history! We did long distance for the first two years which was hard, but we made it work. I did my last year of pharmacy school, my clinical year, at pharmacies in Central PA so I was able to be at home and with Reid a whole lot more. My last clinical rotation was supposed to be in Italy and he was going to come visit to pop the question there—how romantic! Well, that was March 2020 so unfortunately everything was cancelled due to COVID (a true bummer). I thought he was going to wait until the summer at the beach or somewhere, but little did I know, in April 2020 he asked me to be his wife in my parents living room—he said he literally couldn’t wait any longer. So now we have been together for four and a half years and married two months! Hopefully we will finally get to Italy for one of our anniversaries.

THEIR INSPIRATION
I got a lot of inspiration from Pinterest, Tik Tok, and things I’ve seen others do at their wedding. I knew I wanted a romantic feel but still pretty modern. Our venue was so beautiful on its own so I wanted details and decorations that made our guests stand in awe, but that would not overtake the beauty of the venue.

THEIR FAVORITE PART
This is a very difficult question to answer, because I honestly loved every single part of the wedding! If I had to pick, I’d say my favorite part of our wedding was marrying my best friend and dancing the night away with our friends and family! Oh and the cookie dough truck :) Reid said he would say the same.

THEIR ADVICE
Try not to stress about every little detail that needs to get done for the wedding. Yes, wedding planning is stressful but just think about the outcome (you get to celebrate your love!) and it will make all the planning that much more worth it. When it comes to the day of the wedding, you will not get to talk to everyone! Relax and enjoy the day. Just think about you and your future spouse. Everything else will fall into place. The day goes by so fast and you just want to soak in every moment you can!
