Ever dread the dressing room? First, you’re excited to find an item, but then you end up being a victim of a dressing room blunder.
Here are my top 5 tips on what to do inside the dressing room:
1. LIGHTING
Lets face it, most dressing rooms have horrible lighting that gives you a yellow tint. To fix this, I recommend standing outside the dressing room.
2. INSECURITIES
Everyone has insecurities whether it’s your legs, arms, stomach, etc. Pick pieces to try on that focuses on what you do like and draws attention to that area.
3. “THAT’S NOT ME”
Ever tell yourself, “I can’t wear that, that’s not me.” Remember we all have different body shapes, and everything looks different on. Give it a try! If you don’t like it, take it off.
4. SECOND GUESSING
If you’re not completely sold on an item, take a picture and wait a day or two before making a purchase. It’ll help avoid an impulse buy.
5. CHECKING OUT
Try not to remove the tags until you try your item(s) on at home again. Your purchase may not be what you envisioned with the rest of your wardrobe.
