Making time for exercise might not be at the top of your list right now, but the endless benefits that accompany exercise could significantly help not just your body, but also your mind.
We asked Wayne Mutata, CEO of Itrainstudios, to share some insight on staying active during this time, including some of the main benefits of exercising:
- Exercising regularly helps boost your immune system
- Regular exercise can help improve your mental health and overall mood
- A regular exercise routine can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels (stress during this time can increase blood pressure)
- Exercise can help the kids too. Studies indicate that children’s physical activity levels can control mood, stress, and temper
- Building attainable goals around exercise can lead to motivation
- It just feels good after you exercise
