Mary Andres is the owner and Sole Proprietor of Water Colours Interior Design, a boutique shoppe that offers design services, home furnishings and gifts.
As a military dependent, Mary initially gained her design experience moving every 1-3 years from the South Pacific, to the Atlantic Ocean, and many places in between, which allowed her to redesign each house and make it feel like home.
After several decades of relocating, Mary’s husband Michael retired from the Coast Guard, and they began to establish their roots in South Central PA. While actively engaged in major renovations on their current home, Mary decided it was time to formalize her love of design by earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design in 2015.
Three years later, she opened her retail shoppe which beautifully blends a collection of European reproductions, vintage, coastal and modern elements, creating a warm and welcoming space. Her showroom includes custom upholstered furniture, window treatments, bedding, lighting, home decor, and gifts.
Water Colours Interior Design is frequently described as the most unique design shoppe on the West Shore. Customers often ask, “When can I move in?”
