Sacred Sips
Locals seeking an exotic escape this evening may want to stop by Harrisburg’s newest addition to restaurant row, Buddha Buddha. This swanky lounge with Asian-inspired eats and décor finds its home at the corner of Second and South Streets, just a stone’s throw away from the Capitol and at a perfect distance for happy hour libations. Labeling itself a “modern martini and Asian tapas bar,” Buddha Buddha features small dishes like sushi, sashimi, and “Asian Tacos,” such as the Dynasty—a soft corn tortilla filled with miso-glazed shrimp, Asian pear slaw and basmati rice. Their signature cocktail menu includes drinks like the Skinny “T,” mixed with in-house green tea infused vodka, agave nectar and fresh lime juice. Next time you’re in the mood to get away, even if it’s just for an hour after your nine to five, remember this East Shore spot with Eastern flair.

Reader’s Lens: Susquehanna Valley Snapshots
This family photo was taken by local resident Sarah Mock: "This is my husband Bob and our children Emily, Molly and Harry as we ventured to select our Christmas tree at Family Tree Farm in Red Lion this past December. We love to support local farms and we love this particular farm because they have free wagon rides to and from the fields, a family-friendly atmosphere and a play place for the kids to enjoy while the parents load up the tree."
Up to Speed
Men and motors are a natural fit (check out “The Fast and the Fashionable” on pg. 34 if you don’t believe us), but any appreciator of design will dig the Porsche Style and Design exhibit at the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum. This special exhibit running from the beginning of February to the end of April features over 20 jaw-dropping Porsche road and race cars including the 356, 911, 914, 904 and more. To wrap up the exhibit, on April 19 the museum will hold a special program with prominent Porsche author Karl Ludvigsen. Plus, the AACA museum is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a “Two for $10 Tuesdays” special to run throughout the entire year, providing two guests with admission for just $10 on every Tuesday. What a great gearhead gift!

Table Talk
The Baker’s Table, one of Lancaster’s newest joe joints, finds its home within Urban Place alongside fan favorites like the Cork & Cap Restaurant and Cork Factory Hotel. This locally owned and operated café features a case full of pastries and other sweet delicacies (éclair or whoopie pie, anyone?), in addition to artfully prepared Blue Bottle coffee, which is drip brewed into individual cups. If you’re hungry for something a bit more substantial, stop by The Baker’s Table during their lunch hours for café sandwiches, soups and salads. Enjoy your bite on-location at the communal table (thus the business’ name) or grab it to go.
