Take Another Look!
The Demuth Museum, in collaboration with Lancasterhistory.org, is mounting an insightful and expansive exhibition about portraiture in Lancaster. Our exhibit will revisit a landmark exhibition mounted at the Woolworth Building here in Lancaster in 1912 which showcased over 200 historical and contemporary portraits of Lancastrians. Our exhibit will include a selection of these portraits as well as examples from the past century and contemporary photographic portraits to convey the themes and practices of portraiture in Lancaster. Regular Museum hours: Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sunday 1-4.
