Sunflower Festival at Country Barn

Bring a little sunshine into your life and join us for our 3rd Annual Sunflower Festival! Experience the delight of a field of living sunshine at Lancaster’s Family Fun Farm on August 15th, 16th, 22nd, & 23rd 2020 11 AM-5 PM (Last admission 4 PM). We hope you will join us on the farm for live music, fun Barnyard Kingdom activities and beautiful sunflowers! Admission includes Sunshine Wagon Tours, Corn Maze, Pig Races, Jump Pad and more! Every ticket includes a sunflower cut right from our fields! Don’t miss the beautiful photo opportunities!

The Country Barn Farm Market and Barnyard Kingdom is located on a real-working farm growing & raising our own potatoes, produce, beef, small fruits and more! What do all these crops have in common? They need bees! Sunflowers are not only beautiful and edible (mmm, sunflowers seeds!) they are also really great for attracting pollinators! Bees can hop from flower to flower to drink their nectar and will hopefully stick around on the farm to help pollinate our other crops as well!

At Country Barn we strive to create fun and authentic farm experiences for kids and families. Sunflowers are an agricultural crop and therefore subject to weather, growing conditions and ripening variables. We cannot guarantee that the sunflowers will bloom on a particular date, so prepare to be flexible by 7-10 days of your visit. Stay tuned on Facebook for up-to-the minute plans. The event is an outdoor event and therefore held weather permitting.

Country Barn’s Sunflower Festival is conveniently located to Lancaster, Hershey, Harrisburg and York! But don’t worry, if you want to get out of the city to enjoy fields of sunshine, we aren’t too far from Philadelphia, Baltimore or DC either!
