Peach Fest

Join us on Saturday and Sunday, August 10-11 from noon to 5:00 p.m. for our Annual Peach Fest! Enjoy live music by the Klinger McFry Band on Saturday (bluegrass, Cajun, rock, Celtic, swing, country, gospel, and mariachi—you name it, they sing it!) and The Barnstormers on Sunday (Traditional old time American folk music). Sample many different peach varieties, enjoy “peachy” deals on many peach products, and indulge in fresh peach ice cream sundaes. Also available will be a kid’s play area, wagon rides, and a lunch stand.

Have a good recipe with peaches as a main ingredient? Enter our first annual Peach Fest Recipe Contest. You’ll find an entry form on our website (www.hollabaughbros.com). Hollabaugh Bros. Farm Market Gift cards will be awarded for first, second, and third places prizes in both youth (15-under) and adult (16-over) divisions as follows:

Youth (Under 16): First Place $25, Second Place $10, Third Place $5

Adult (Sixteen and over): First Place $50, Second Place $25, Third Place $10

Judges for the event are Nina Redding, Director, Penn State Cooperative Extension Service of Adams County, Adams County Commissioner Jim Martin, and Kay Hollabaugh. Call for more information, and have your recipes and forms to the Ice Cream Sundae Tent by 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The judging will take place at 3:00 p.m. with awards announced immediately following.

There’s plenty to do, our peach bins are full, so come on out and spend the afternoon on the farm! Note: There is no gate or parking fee, but please consider making a monetary donation to benefit this year's non-profit organization - the Bendersville Fire Company! A portion of the day’s proceeds will also go to this worthy community organization. See you at the fest!
