Friends Annual Book Sale

Friends of the Hershey Public Library to hold the 41st Annual Book Sale. Saturday, August 6 until Tuesday, August 9 at the Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033.

Friday, August 5 from 6-8 pm is the popular Preview Night for Friends members, offering a chance to purchase books before the sale opens to the public. Attendees can register as a member at the Preview Night or go to https://friendsofhersheypubliclibrary.wildapricot.org. Membership categories are: Member $15, Family $30, Patron $50, Benefactor $100, or Benefactor Plus $250 or more. Joining at the Member level entitles you to purchase up to 20 books on Friends Preview Night. If you upgrade beyond the Member level, you will be entitled to purchase up to 40 books.

The Book Sale hours are: Saturday, August 6 from 10am-5pm; Sunday, August 7 from 1pm-5pm (Library services will be unavailable on Sunday, only open for book sales), Monday, August 8 from 10am-5pm, and on Tuesday, August 9 from 10am-8pm.

On sale will be books for all ages, graphic novels, DVDs, music CDs, audiobook CDs, magazines, puzzles, and games. Books are sorted by general topics, such as, cookbooks, romance, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy, foreign language, art, children, etc. There is also a special section of the more valuable books with special pricing.
