In this introductory to sculpting the figure, students will delve into the basics of figure modeling using Plasteline (oil-based clay) or terra cotta clay. You will explore the techniques of figure modeling from live models; projects will focus on realism and may transition through stages of abstraction. Whether a beginner or intermediate student, you’ll be able to move your own work to the next level. This supportive environment is the space you need to explore the making of art.
