Instructor Brian Cunfer will give an overview of wood-turning, and introduce the mini-lathe, the use of the tools involved, and the affordability of setting yourself up to use a lathe at home. Cunfer will also instruct students on the use and application of a number of woodturning tools, including the Garden Dibble and Spurtle (Scottish stirring stick).
