Enameling is a process of fusing glass to metal. We will cover tools and equipment, enamel and metal preparation and how to fire in a kiln. You will have the opportunity to learn basic dry application enameling techniques, such as sifting, stenciling, incorporating glass threads, and graffito. You may focus on creating samples, or finish the day with a pair of earrings. Materials fee: $35 payable to the instructor the day of the workshop covers copper pieces for enameling, ear wires, scotch brite pads, N95 masks, trivets, metal mesh screens, enamels, and glass threads
