Under the direction of Silvia Lozano, Ballet Folclórico Nacional de México is dedicated to spreading, preserving and promoting the culture of Mexico at home and abroad. Since 1960, it has collaborated with outstanding researchers and specialists of folklore, dance, music and costumes typical of the different regions of the Mexican republic. Lozano has committed herself to preserving originality and authenticity, presenting scenic dance paintings that preserve the symbols and meaning of centuries of tradition and history, to show people around the world the beauty of Mexican traditions. Ballet Folclórico Nacional de México has performed in more than 30 countries on five continents, receiving countless recognitions and awards. Identifying itself as the ambassador of Mexican culture, the company has performed for royalty, presidents, prime ministers, ambassadors and more.
