Their Love Story
Timothy and Claire met in 2014 right before their sophomore year of college. They had mutual friends dating at the time and were connected through them. After hanging out the first time, they were inseparable. Claire often came home to Lebanon to visit her family and see Timothy. Timothy, who was in Philadelphia at the time attending college, would often drive to State College to visit Claire and became an honorary member of their household there. They maintained the long-distance relationship and graduated college eager to begin their lives together. In October of 2019 they bought their first home together & in November of 2019 after 5 years of dating they got engaged at the Four Seasons in the Comcast Center in Philadelphia, PA at sunset surrounded by their families.
They were originally set for 12/31/2020 but unfortunately had to postpone due to COVID. Claire has grown up going to the Lebanon Country Club her whole life. Lebanon Country Club (LCC) has been a place of tons of fond memories, to include, her parents Maria and John Dissinger getting married there on December 29th, 1990.

The Inspiration
They knew they wanted traditional colors like white, black, gold and silver to keep the seasonal theme. All of the florals were white with greenery. The ceremony space used the Bride and Groom as the centerpiece with 2 massive candelabras next to them. The bride’s mother, Maria Dissinger was the officiant! The bar featured a selection of beer, wine, and spirits and 3 signature drinks featuring their 3 dogs. The menu kept elevated hearty, seasonal items including bacon wrapped pork loin with bourbon sauce and beef tenderloin with mushroom fondue sauce. There was plenty of champagne and a champagne tower for midnight. Claire is a tequila lover so instead of a traditional champagne toast, they toasted to Patron shots concluding speeches! Some unique features included an ice sculpture lit with LEDs that made the perfect centerpiece for all the Donuts by Fresh Donuts in Lebanon, PA (IYKYK!!!). Balloon garland hung around the photobooth to tie in the theme of the wedding and make for a great backdrop! They also featured a cigar roller flown in from Miami by the bride’s father, John! The cigar roller crafted cigars that evening with custom bands including Claire and Timothy’s names and the date of their special day. Fireworks started at 11:55PM and ran into the New Year on the LCC deck. It was an evening full of happy tears, excellent food, and drinks, lots of dancing and most importantly, LOVE!

Their Advice
When we first sat down and started planning, we came up with the guest list & the budget. From there we discussed what our priorities were. For Claire, it was Photographs, Hair & Make-up. For Tim, it was whatever made Claire happy (lol). Our biggest blessing was bringing in our wedding planner. She handled all the contracts, created timelines & set up/broke down the reception so us & our families could enjoy the wedding fun - 10/10 we would recommend getting a wedding planner!! After all of that, truly the biggest thing is to enjoy being engaged and planning a wedding together.
