Lauren is the owner of Lauren Fisher Photography and has been photographing weddings for the last 13 years. This year, it was her turn to walk down the aisle to the love of her life, Wesley. "The day was absolutely beyond what I could have dreamed up for our wedding. We wanted to have a Royal wedding with an epic dance party afterwards in a gorgeous ballroom."
THEIR LOVE STORY
Our journey to marriage is proof that sometimes the timing just has to be right. We originally met and dated 7 years ago and in that time realized we both weren't ready for the long term, so we parted ways and considered each other friends. After some time apart where we both had grown in our own personal journeys we ran into each other again, It was then that we realized the spark was still there. We knew we wanted to give us a real shot at love!

THEIR INSPIRATION
We drew our inspiration from Royal weddings but added our own families history to the day. My engagement ring was the beginning of that inspiration because it included diamonds from both of our late Grandmothers. Lauren also carried her grandmother's bible down the aisle, the same one her grandmother carried on her wedding day. Our gorgeous cake was topped with an exact replica of Lauren's parents cake topper from their wedding day. We also knew we wanted to have a church wedding with a ballroom reception, and we wanted a vintage car to drive us to both.

THEIR FAVORITE PART
It's so hard to choose a favorite part, because the whole day was incredible. We loved exiting the church as husband and wife with everyone we loved surrounding us and showering us with love and driving away in our rolls royce. We also loved entering into the reception and dancing through the room seeing all of our guests. But Lauren's favorite part of the day was listening to the vows Wesley wrote to her son James. There wasn't a dry eye in the church! Wesley's favorite part of the day was watching his bride walk down the aisle to him arm and arm with her dad, while the grandiose music of the organ and violin were playing!
THEIR ADVICE
Plan ahead, but be flexible because things will go wrong, Be in the moment because the day will be over in a Blink if an eye. And most importantly hire vendors that you trust and love because they are the ones who create the magic!
