Their Love Story
Charles and I were brought together by fate in the Summer of 2019. Two college kids in their twenties, who at the time had no idea they lived only 4 miles from each other. We say fate brought us together because our whole lives we lived right down the street from each other, went to rival schools and somehow never crossed paths. In the Summer of 2019, a new season of the Netflix show "Stranger Things" came out and we both were big fans. Not knowing that one of my favorite shows could lead me to my future husband, I had decided to put something up on my Instagram story about the new season. Later that evening, I had received a direct message on Instagram from a boy who I never met, but knew of from mutual friends. When I initially received the message, I was at work and wasn't going to even respond. Luckily, I was working with one of my close friends that evening, who told me to respond and just see what happens. Charles and I quickly became glued to our phones for the next few weeks as we texted back and forth, nonstop! By the end of the month, Charles had asked me on a date. After going on a few more dates, Charles had asked me to be his girlfriend on August 16th. We quickly grew inseparable.
Fast forward to September 2021, Charles had me fully convinced we were going to a formal business event. But that was not the case. Charles had taken me to a peach orchard in York and proposed. Our relationship has always felt like we were on Cloud 9; that was just emphasized to a maximum. The wedding planning had commenced! We had toured many venues and the last one on our schedule was the one! We fell in love with Historic Acres of Hershey. It was the perfect mix of everything we wanted, from elegant to fairytale rustic. In November of 2021, we decided 2022 was the year we would get married. We knew we had to get married on August 6th. It was going to be "our" month, the month we started dating and now the month we would get married! The time flew by until our big day... We had the wedding of our absolute dreams! A day full of pure happiness and joy, celebrated with our families and friends. It was an absolute fairytale and a day we wish we could relive over and over again.

Their Inspiration
Our inspiration came from all the ideas that swarmed our brains and some pinning on Pinterest. We wanted elegant mixed with a pinch of rustic to give us our perfect fairytale wedding. We both love gold accents so of course we threw that into everything!
