October 5, 2019
“The saying, "Love is in the air," isn't a joke. On October 5th, the love from our friends and family and the love that we share together was almost palpable, as if it were a tangible object. Pure Bliss. The kind of sublime you feel when you know that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.”
THEIR LOVE STORY
In 2012, Logan and I met through mutual friends when I was a senior in high school and he was a freshman in college. Even though he swears we had 2 math classes together in high school. Neither of which I recall! We spent the first three years of our relationship in a long distance relationship while he went to school 3 hours away. After both of our college graduations, we bought a house together in 2017 and he finally popped the question on April fools day 2018 (also Easter). I first knew Logan was the one when I saw the way he interacted with my family and the way my nephews absolutely adored him. But more importantly, when I saw the way he LOVED them.

THEIR INSPIRATION
The most important thing to me on our wedding day, was to showcase the love that we have not only for each other, but also for our friends and family. We wanted our wedding to be about the love that we share for one another and it was most important for us to be surrounded by the people we care for the most. Our nephew has a rare and terminal genetic disorder. We don't know how much time we will be able to spend with him so it was super important for us to celebrate the day with his presence. [Decor wise] we were inspired by fall jewel tones, copper and bohemian/vintage style, we worked with our fantastic group of vendors to make our dream wedding come true.

THEIR FAVORITE PART
Our favorite part of our wedding day was being surrounded by our loved ones and creating an atmosphere where everyone was included and felt just as special as we did. You could truly feel the happiness in the air that day. My personal favorite part was having my nephews walk down the aisle as my ring bearer and “flower boys.” The open bar, dancing, and soft pretzel display didn’t make for a bad night either.
THEIR ADVICE
Advice for future brides/grooms: Don’t lose sight of the importance of the day. Make sure you don’t get too wrapped up in the little things that don’t matter. *I completely forgot to wear my veil for the ceremony. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter.* Focus on every moment and truly be present so you can remember every emotion. If possible, carve out some time for just the two of you on your special day so you can celebrate and have an intimate moment or cheers to what is happening.
