Who We Are
Eliance Health Solutions is a local health plan offering backed by Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health that was established in 2016 to help the Lancaster employer community manage health plan costs and keep their employees healthy and on the job. Our self-funded health plans are available to businesses in the Lancaster area with 15 or more employees and offer a unique advantage to local businesses by allowing them to partner directly with a health system for their health plan coverage.
Our Team
The Eliance Health Solutions team prides itself on working with broker partners in Lancaster to bring the health plan to local businesses. Our team is comprised of professionals that are dedicated to making sure the health plan can positively impact employers and residents in the Lancaster community.
Mike McCuen, Manager of Broker Relations for Eliance Health Solutions, is one of the key members of our team. Mike works directly with broker partners and prospective employers to help them best understand the Eliance Health Solutions difference. One of the key elements of Mike’s job is building trusted relationships with brokers and employers. When meeting with brokers and employer groups Mike serves as a resource and provides information to help them navigate the employee benefits landscape. One of the things Mike enjoys most about his role as Manager of Broker Relations is the ability to connect with local businesses and hear about their company and history in the Lancaster community. “I look forward to the opportunity to meet with as many local businesses as possible and to build trusted relationships with business owners and their broker. Our local team is dedicated to helping the Lancaster community understand and utilize their benefits to build a healthier workforce and save money that can be reinvested in employees.”
Melanie Horn, Senior Client Manager for Eliance Health Solutions, is another key member of the Eliance team. Melanie is responsible for ensuring all Eliance Health Solutions clients understand their health plan costs, benefits and features to make sure they are utilizing their benefits in the best way. Melanie is a life-long resident of Lancaster County and enjoys meeting with local businesses that share the same dedication to the community. She is the main point of contact for all Eliance Health Solutions clients and is involved in the client management process every step of the way. “It’s great to work directly with local businesses and hear how our health plan is helping them to control medical costs and keep their employees healthy. We enjoy knowing that we have positively impacted their workforce.”
Key Features of Our Health Plan
Eliance Health Solutions health plans offer a variety of features including a tiered network with robust local coverage through the Eliance Preferred Network and national coverage through Cigna. The health plan also integrates Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s Wellness program and offers individuals that complete the program a deductible credit of up to $500. Our Medical Director and team of nurses work diligently with all clients to identify areas for health improvement by closing gaps in care and ensuring that members receive preventative screenings to improve their long-term health.
